"Sailing" May 2005 - Page 4!
The Rock Cut where eyes often turn to the "thingy" on the wall telling how many feet of water
is under the ship. Its very shallow here and Anders slows the ship way down to be sure she gets
through safely.
Nice house!!
Another day over but yet we still have aways to go. Called up Cathy in Detour to let her know we'ld be
passing by. I told her I wanted to see fireworks, little did I know that they found some and we had quite a show!
Lots of fun for sure! Thanks!!!!
Yep its me, on the "love boat" hee hee
I have no idea what this is a picture of..ha ha but the moon is neat..:o)
we were out of the river and out on Lake Huron by midnight
and had a GREAT sleep going across the lake. Oh do I ever love sleeping on the Ship...
Up this morning around 7:30 but took a short nap after lunch since we'ld be in the river til after Midnight.
It was another beautiful day to spend out on the bridge deck getting some sun while enjoying all the sights along the river!

Port Huron, great spot for Ship watching from the looks, lots of great parks!! Nice place!

Pretty busy Day in the River too . The St. Clair was unloading and I see someone coming up.
Guess who??
Did you guess right? Well to tell you the truth I wouldn't of known..good thing I can see the word
Frontenac in the picture!
Great sailing day!
Someone was waving at Fawn Island, not sure if it was Sherri or Ron!
Another ship...okay time to guess who it is....:o)
Yep is that big ol Columbia Star again!
Wow the river was really busy today!
The American Republic ...I think!
She'll be coming round the corner when she comes...!!
This was really interesting meeting the ship in this bend of the river.
I think this is a cool picture...look how SMALL those houses look!!!
hmmm whos this? Maybe the Lee A.??
almost to Lake St. Clair.
Out on Lake Erie again around Midnight and got up around 7:30...almost home..
I wanted to go home to our house but would of rather taken my sailor guy with me!
It was a great trip though, nothing like being out in the middle of these huge lakes, no bad weather to see their awesome power but had plenty of awesome beauty to look at!
We got to Nanticoke around 5pm that afternoon, Anders had a bunch of company guys coming down so he couldn't come home with me, so I just went along and went to pick up our Dogs Bandit and Mckenzie at the vacation home. :o)
Got home and found the grass had grow to be a hay field....
Took me 4 days to mow it, rake it and pick up the mulch..got a great compost pile going!
So thats the end of my story..hope you enjoyed it. I'm back home enjoying the weather and waiting for my
sailor guy to come home with me!
