You may ask "Why do you have a whole page devoted to just weather sites?" My Answer is this: I am a weather Junky! I used to drive my children nuts as when they were younger since I left the TV on "The Weather Channel" all day long! I find the weather very interesting (Maybe I should of been a weather girl?? ) . Being married to a Ship Captain my weather interests have increased to some extent as now I not only do it for my own interests but also to keep eye on the weather where my Husband ship is and where its heading. There are some great sites out there just for "Weather Nerds" like me!

Weather Radar of the Great Lakes by Intellicast - link will bring you right to the great lakes but you can use this site to look for weather at your own location as well.

Great Lakes Marine Weather - Text forecast including mafors from NOAA

Great Lakes Coastal Forecasting System - now this is just too neat! shows wind currents, water currents, wave heights etc and also forecasted.

Public weather warnings for southern Ontario - used to check this site alot when I lived in Canada, now I'll check it to check on my friends there.

CNN Weather -These guys do a pretty good job reporting the weather too.
