Algoma Winter Meetings - Photos (all photos can be "clicked on" to enlarge them. If you would like the original large size let me know I'll email you one.) The following are photographs I took while attending the winter meetings at the Quality Inn, St. Catharines, Ontario. Gina Williams kept all of us "ladies" well entertained! First was the luxury bus ride to BB Blooms where we were going to do some flower arrangements. Lots of fun and interesting discussions on the bus. Right Fay? :o) BB Blooms is a fun place we had some beautiful flowers available to us to make some awesome arrangements. Brad was really patient with all of us and offered lots of support and suggestions even for those of us who were "flower arrangment challanged" ( By looking at the arrangements that was just me!! ) Below some shots of all of us having a great time! Thanks to Brian and for Gina for setting it up again! Below: Sheri #2 and Sandra...is this before or AFTER the wine? Below is showing the big decisions by all of us of what flowers to chose and where to put them! Beverly showing us the finished product. ( You will notice I did NOT include a photo of mine!) After we were finished we took a walk around downtown St. Catharines and then loaded all our beauuuuutiful flowers aboard the bus. It was then time for a fine lunch at Fresco's Euro Grille We had an awesome lunch with some great Greek food. Even got to take leftovers back to the hotel. :o) Below is a window I thought was pretty inside of the Resturant. Later on after lunch we went back to the hotel to deposit our flower arrangments and pick up a few more girls who couldn't make it in the morning. Then we headed off to our "beading" workshop. We were served wine and cheese and instructed on the details of making a crystal beaded bracelet. Lots of concentration going on!! Maybe it didn't make it any easier to thread the bead on the silver wire with that glass of wine??? :o) Ellie was pretty patient with us, even those of us who made "9's" with our wires. :o) When we were finished we had made a beautiful crystal bracelet to wear to the upcoming Captain and Chiefs Ball. We were loaded back on the bus and back to the hotel later many of them went back out for a great dinner together too! Below my partner in crime Sherri #1.
A few of us met up for dinner later on at.
The photos below? .....Don't ask me why.......ha ha ha! No place is complete in Canada without a Tim Hortons Coffee close by!
The next day we got up early for our beauty make over with a consultant from Mary Kay. "Before" photo of Sheri #2! Heres Sheri #1 attempting to enlarge her eyes? Thanks Gina! We're having a blast! Sheri #2 AFTER! Soon everyone was "beautified" and we were off to get ready for our big "dates" for the evening. The evening was alot of fun wish I had taken more photos but would love to see some of yours too! Me posing for a photo with Elmer Strong from our dinner table. :o)
Sheri #1 and Captain Doug...:o) Later on in the evening my husband Anders wanted to have his picture taken with Jenns and congratulate him on his retirement. He had to wait for him to arrive. :o) Here's Anders again wanting to be on the Algoma backdrop for his 25 year anniversary next year! :o) Dancing the night away!
Thats all the photos I have to share with you. I would love to see any that you took as well! Thanks Gina for the great time with the ladies programs hope we didn't drive you too crazy! :o)
